    Hi all,

I just purchased a 2013 certified pre owned TRD sport. Is there anything I need to know about it because I'm new to the truck community I drove a 2003 super charged mustang for 6 years. It has I think a 2 inch lift with the level kit it was put on by Toyota. Also it has the twin screw super charger and 285 Toyo all country tires. So fare so good I love it, it has plenty of pick up for a truck.

They said everything was done right with the super charger, fuel pump, injectors, and tune. The pervious owner ran it on 87 it said it was tuned to it. I have put one tank of 87 into it and it doesn't mind.

But other then that anything I should know?

Sounds like it was modded pretty heavily. You can learn a lot about what to do, and what not to do on this forum.

Might want to look close at the mods and check here to make sure they were done right.

Any idea how the lift was done?

Was the supercharger installed at a dealership?

How many miles on this? I'm 95% sure it's suppose to get premium fuel with the Supercharger, but someone here that knows more about that than I should chime in. Congrats on picking up the new truck, is it a short bed or long bed? PreRunner or 4WD?

Wow that was fast my mustang forum isn't nearly this quick.

Its 4x4 and a short bed with the bed extender with the roof luggage rack. It has Navi and JBL system and it has 41,000 miles. The super charger was installed by Toyota and was certified under my 1 yr certified pre owned warranty.

Yes I will take picture tomorrow its dark here right now but I will have them soon.

If it's the trd charger you should run 91 or higher. Only had mine for a few thousand miles but manual says premium

I think a lot of people on here would be interested in buying a two year old truck with the TRD supercharger, simply because the cost of doing one on your own is so high.

Hope you got a smoking deal.

Yah I got a really good deal pretty much at cost. It was under 30,000 before tax.

Not only that, but if your going to finance the truck, you can do so on a used. Where as you can only finance the truck, but not the supercharger when buying new.

Obviously your still going to pay in the long run for the Supercharger twice, in finance charges.

If there was a "new" Supercharged, TRD-OFF Road or even a Sport sitting on the lot when I purchased, I wouldn't have even thought twice, and picked it up.

It's again, one of those head scratcher items, that makes you wonder WTF Toyota did not just make a trim level or option all together from the factory.

It blows that it is sold as a stand alone component, and I've got to have my truck down a day to get installed etc....

As I understand it you can finance the supercharger. When I bought my truck the dealer went through all of the accessories I was interested in, and told me how much they would add to the monthly payment. The supercharger was one of the ones he mentioned. I think it was like $91 a month extra.

I got it for 29,300 with everything included and its pretty awesome I love the power it feels nice and smooth.

What have most people got on mileage with the super chager?

Also does the fifth tire have a TPS sensor?

Yes that wouldn't be good if you had to finance both I can barley afford this thing as it is.

The gas mileage isn't good and when the wife realized I had all ready put 200 miles on it and blow through 3/4 tank she about S*** bricks.
