    Morning all: :rain:
 about Charlie! At least he may be able to speak Spanish when he gets out!

    Welcome to another Mike!

I'm still picking away at walleyes. Last night I caught 4, and a 32" striper.
Waters still a little to warm to do well on the walleyes.

    Morning Rob:
Didn't take a pic.! Not that fond of stripers. They belong in the ocean, not in rivers or lakes! Catching them only interrupts my walleye fishing! :(

Looks like they have a problem up in Canada!

In 2007 I retired from a 30+ year job at age 55. I have not missed it for a moment. In fact, I was called back to work as a contractor and just laughed at them.

My current job let's me set the schedule. Heck, it is a small business and the owner very rarely shows up. I have the stress of an owner since I do everything, but that is counter balanced by the freedom to do as I wish.

This is what one needs after one becomes fed up with the petty bs of company hacks. The downside is that if you are a workaholic or micro manager you could go way overboard on time spent. I'm salary and try to average no more than 40 per week.

    Thanks for the welcomes.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
22 bucks a month? Let's see...yup, that will almost keep us even with inflation. Man, I feel a lot better now. :D

You know you are too old to Trick or Treat when:

    10. You keep knocking on your own front door.
    9. You remove your false teeth to change your appearance.

    8. You ask for soft high fiber candy only.
    7. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag,
and you lose your balance and fall over.

    6. People say: 'Great Boris Karloff Mask,'
And you're not wearing a mask.
    5. When the door opens you yell, 'Trick or...'
And you can't remember the rest.

    4. By the end of the night,
you have a bag full of restraining orders.

    3. You have to carefully choose a costume that doesn't dislodge your hairpiece.

    2. You're the only Power Ranger in the
    neighborhood with a walker.
And the number one reason Seniors should not go
    Trick Or Treating...
    *
    *
    *
    1. You keep having to go home to pee.

No matter, have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN anyway.

Thanks again John, both for keeping us updated and being such a great and supportive friend to Charlie and his wife. I know he knows it, but tell him again we're all pulling for him daily.

    Evening all
    Thinking of you Charlie....
Ty for the updates John. I know it's hard for you be we all appreciate it.
    Welcome MM.
Raining like crazy here. Won't stop till Saturday.
    Going to be waterlogged after.
Weekend is suppose to be good. So more winter prep.
Working on a 62 vette. Brakes and fuel gauge.
Body still has the blend seams showing so its a mint body and paint job.
To bad most people ruin a perfect body by filling in the blend seams thinking it looks better however really degrades the pricing on it..

Thanks for the updates, John!! Charlie is in our thoughts and prayers!!

Welcome Mike from another of the 60+ wannabees...at least for another 6 months.

The one on the left looks familiar, Jim - except for the custom grips I had made. I just hated the feel of the originals. The one on the right is my normal carry piece - just can't get over the feel of the M1911A1-style frame and .45cal.

John, thank you so much for the update.   :annoyed: so sorry for Charlie... how hard is it for the security guard or nurses to say "doz visitors" hold up two fingers. Then say "quatro - vaminoz"? You guys are a lot more patient than I am or would be in Charlies position. :anonymous:

I think they may be related...

Hi Mike, in my much younger years when I was working in a gas station, my boss had a 62 vette 283 with power glide. Loved that car and occasionally he would let me take it for a run  and damn if it didn't turn the girls heads:kona::broccoli: but alas I had to return it:(...
