It's a possibility. I don't know what the issue is, but it was always odd from the start. It never disengaged 100%. If I'm stopped, clutch in, in 1st gear, it will creep forward. Not normal.

Sounds like the linkage just needs some adjustment, although if it has been that way for a long time it could be getting really torn up.

That's what I was thinking. I should have adjusted it, but a little to late now. The release is at the very top of the pedal so I can tell there isn't much life left. I plan to pull it and install a LC Engineering metallic clutch in the spring.

I put an Aisin in my 85' about 5 years ago and it has been working well with a lot of abuse on the trails. I have heard good things about Marlin's clutches as well.

I like something more aggressive for the supercharger. The new one says it handles 475 hp and torque. And it's much stronger material than a stock clutch.

So this week I didn't get my stuff I ordered delivered. Got told to show up somewhere an hour away only to have it not done then half way home told to come pick it up. 130$ taken off my insurance check. And tonight I got a mistaken order from Oakley the ones who lost my first package! It was a 250$ suitcase they accidently sent me ...

MIOBI wasn't very satisfying this time. I only wheeled for about an hour before I turned around and went home. First I caught a tree with my door, then mud soaked my alternator so it wouldn't charge anymore. I decided to call it quits and get home before my truck died. Made it home fine though. Deep cycle battery FTW.

Ha! Sounds like my trip to the cliffs lol. At least I managed to keep away from body damage. Keep your denso alternator and order a tough one online from advance auto parts with the 15% coupon it was like $125 without giving up your core.

I'm going to clean the brushes on my alternator. Did it on my old truck when I got mud in that one.
