    So, slight derailment here:

I've never been much of a fast food guy. But, I'm aware of a couple of decent burger chains that have come into being in the last decade, and when I lived in Florida there was a 5 Guys by my house that I'd hit up once a month or so.

Now, that chain isn't in OKC. However, several other prominent ones are. I'm curious as to what y'all have for opinions on them.

Please rank, and more importantly, tell me why. I'm curious and, until I get back to work and with a regular sized income, fairly broke, so I don't wanna go dropping $20 on a burger lunch to have it be shitty :)

Here's what I've found nearby in my new-city wanderings:

    jack in the box
    whataburger
    in-n-out
    carl's jr
    sonic
    DQ

thanks in advance for your thoughts, gang!

All we have on that list is Sonic and DQ. I like the sonic burgers, OK for fast food I guess.

Thanks! It wasn't nearly as good as the Columbian food though. Its just down the street and we finally gave it a try. We will be going back for sure, it was delicious! :)

Edit: Didn't see the stew. Looks good!

Whataburger is my all time favorite fast food burger..well, maybe Blakes LotaBurger is..but those are only in new mexico. they are very similar.

double whataburger with jalapenos...holy crap..first stop i make when i visit family in El Paso.

in and out? i cant get over how sucky the fries are. and their burgers are just too juicy with the smoogey-thousand-island-glop..i never feel right, after eating one. kinda nauseous..

In-n-Out Burger! Oh how I wish there was one of those in MD. I'd probably road trip up to 100 miles for one of those burgers. Another great one is Steak-n-Shake, if you ever stumble upon their glorious establishment. Hamburger, fries, and a dark chocolate milk shake.... and on that note I need to find breakfast, even saying that makes me hungry!
EDIT: Being from FL you are probably already familiar with Steak-n-Shake. Did you like their food?

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Whataburger with out a doubt! I saw some others mention what all to get on your burger, but for the first time to truly appreciate the burger you have to do it classic, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, meat and bun (with choice of mustard or mayo, never ketchup). Maybe get a little crazy and add cheese and grilled onions, but to really judge the burger itself, you can't have anything too flavorful. Then after you decide which one has a better plain burger you can get artsy and add whatever else, jalapenos, bacon, etc. Do this and you will see Whataburger is the best (of those listed of course).
