If it's that difficult to hold up in stop and go traffic then you probably shouldn't be riding.

That's just an idiot driver who intentionally did that. My dad has been riding bikes for 40+ years and I did to before I joined. Thought about getting another one but after seeing how people drive, bikers included, out here in Vegas, there's no way in hell I'm getting on any busy street on a bike. Instead I just picked up a few dirt bikes and ride out in the dunes, but even out there we have tourists in sand rail rentals who don't pay attention. I hit a dune one time and someone in a sandrail drove it right under me. If I was going any slower on my approach to the dune that sandrail would have plowed right into me.

If it was that bad in a Fiero, I don't want to be on a bike.

Who cares how much they cost, how much are the payments? Hillbilly financing is awesome. Shoot, I spend more on fancy imported beer than I do on my KTM payment. :D

Yeah. With people paying less and less attention to the road these days. It takes the fun out of driving, period. I saw a thing about how hands free stuff, and how people concentrate more on the task of using that than on the road.

There are lots of used 950 adventures and Super Enduro's for sale at a reasonable cost too... I just wanted something reliable that I wouldn't have to do maintenance on all the time and was willing to finance my soul to satan to get a new one.

That is true. I have a few friends who rode KTM 450's. It's just painful to see them drop the bike from 15+ft up. That's why liked my Honda's, they took a beating but parts were common and cheap

I've never once seen a vehicle intentionally aim for a motorcyclist for any reason.

And splitting lanes is moronic period, IMO. Getting rear ended in a vehicle is no good either but I don't see many people advocating for them to split lanes or cruise the shoulder, etc.

If you're on the road abide by the road rules.

I'd rather bikes split lanes than take up an entire car space on the road. Hell I split lanes in my truck when traffic is bad and there are no cops around haha

I love to split lanes with bikes when they don't expect it...just so they see how it feels :)
