Why not go aftermarket like a Yakima one? Yakima's can hold more weight than the OEM ones

Would suck to wait, but I'd wait for Grey. Not a huge orange fan. Weather sucks anyways probably wouldn't use it much now anyways

Exactly what Cam said, only advantage of having orange is if I ever got stuck/broke down and needed to be rescued, all I would have to do is open the tent and it would be easy to spot from a helicopter or something.

Plus in the mornings when the light comes in it'll be a bit brighter with the orange reflecting light more than grey. Ill stick with the grey

Probably running hoses that aren't meant for the pressure?

All of the hoses that I used were 3/8" rubber hoses rated at 300 psi. It could possibly be the fact that I used adjustable hose clamps. I think I should be using crimping hose clamps.

You.... You... I've been saying how I want to wheel all week long and no one responds, then I make a plan to go to Spokane to visit for the first time in 5 years and then, only then does someone and even a local yakima guy say he wants to go. Wtf haha.
Hey what don't you meet up with me and butcher on Sunday? May do a mini mod day, I'm coming back on Sunday.

Hey man that sounds good! I wasn't really sure what I was going to be up to earlier this week. I just got jaw surgery a couple weeks ago so I sound like im a mumbling idiot, but I can get around mumble work on trucks and drink beer! One of these days I will get out with you guys and get the truck some exercise. I am thinking about a place called Funny Rocks soon, once I get my sliders welded on. I will try to jump on the forum more often, not good with keeping up n the web!

It's all dependent on where you go there. One section is some 'rolling hills' made of slick rock with a north/south running fissure or two through the middle, ending with a cliff face to the south. The fissures can be difficult the closer you drive to the cliff, but the majority of the area is just a time when you can articulate your suspension.
The second section to the north is sort of a cliffside that you can climb. It's basically the picture below. There's a small canyon of sorts slightly to the left outside of the photo.

    IMAG1242-1_2a5f615ff3503c4ba6001008d5904f09cb85f6d2.jpg

This is one of the harder parts of the north area. completely avoidable unless you are the type magnetized to these situations

Proof that you don't need anything beyond stock to get there, The dent predates the trip. He needed some lift here for the line he took, but could have gone around.

There is a lot of trails around the funny rocks area! I have been up there with a bunch of jeep buddies from my work. with a lifted truck there is a lot you can do up there... But ya I wouldn't do a lot of the lines I have seen some dudes do without a little bit of armor. There is quit a bt of FS road and some great views up there!!
