Virginia Tech may suck, but at least they still have a good sized crowd at their games. Even on Thursdays.

That stupid turkey call would get on my nerves. Almost as much as cowbells.

    Who's intimidated by a turkey?

As a Hokie, suck may be an understatement. The past two years we have just tanked it.

The turkey call is kinda corny. lol I'll agree with you there. Thursday night in Lane Stadium is always INSANE though. three years ago during the Miami game we actually registered on the Richter scale.

I've read a lot of quotes saying that Davis-Wade was one of the most intimidating gameday atmospheres when Auburn and A&M were in town.

Chris Low from ESPN said "It was the loudest stadium I've ever been in and it wasn't just the cowbells." Stewart Mandel from Fox Sports said that the auburn game was "the loudest game I have ever attended-start to finish- even postgame. You haven't lived until you've heard "don't stop believing" with accompaniment from 50,000 cowbells."

I'll try and pull links or pictures up with those quotes in it.

yea, but you've also got to take acoustics in when your talking about those stadiums. lol all of those are closed stadiums with 100k+ seating. Lane stadium has open corners and only seats about 60K. Its loud for it's size lol

Talked with a beat writer for them via twitter, apparently they are trying to play 7 home games a season every year and their agreement with Oregon and playing Arkansas in Dallas wouldn't allow that.

Also, Virginia Tech is a joke right now. Fumbling on the 1 yard line like that?

Yeah. Not sure why they couldn't work with Oregon to switch which years they're playing at home. Doesn't make sense to me.

    False.

We need to have a workshop on how to quote things without messing it up.
