I think i went to much with the whole plast dip thing... :p
dipped the wheels, all the emblems, and rear chrome bumper.

also at it i got dupli-colors Perfect Match spray paint and painted front grille and emblem.

for first timer using plasti dip, it came out rather nice and I like the look it gives. and the best part is if you change your mind you can rip it right off!!

one tip, when you do wheels deflate them to a pretty low psi then push playing cards (cost like $1) in between the tire and wheel. It'll let you get the entire wheel and cover the tire from overspray really well.

That all came out really well! I just did my rear bumper and most of the chrome on my front. Going to paint my wheels and front grille tomorrow, excited to see how it's gonna look

Not bad! If you're going gangstah, do the skidplate and smoke the headlights. Would complete it nicely.

Did you do any type of prep on your grill with the dupli color. Was thinking about painting mine too.

How well does the chrome on the front grill match the body color? What prep did you do on the chrome and how many coats of primer and paint? Did you hang to paint it, or did you do in on newspaper on the ground?

Ha I did the same to my MGM.

Planning to get my wheel done to. Mine is on for a few weeks now and its really holding it. I hand car wash it and with an pressure washer. Its not coming off. I had like 15 coats on it tho.

All that painting and you didn't do the front skid plate on an otherwise all black truck?

I used a plain flat black on my skid, I love it!

Haha...I did the EXACT same thing! I did eventually take the dip of my wheels and just painted the center caps black though. Just wanted something different plus I kind of did a half assed job when I did the wheels.

Time for the BHLM? I kind of like the skid plate as is....adds a bit of contrast. Black would be cool, too, though.
