Keep. Was thinking about doing that for a bit, but I don't find the glare to be that bad. Sure does look nice though. When you going LT?

I have been wanting to play around with some vinyl on a few things. What is your process for big pieces like this? Do you cut the shape and then apply it or is there a way to apply the sheet of vinyl and trim it without ruining the paint?

Big pieces are kinda difficult. This particular one was extra tricky because I was using scrap pieces. It's actually three different pieces that I had to cut to fit. But it was just a test to see how I liked it. If I decided to keep it I'll have a new single piece cut.

But I would suggest lots of water. It helps a lot. Get a spray bottle and wet the surface that you're going to apply the vinyl. That will let you slide and reposition the vinyl for a few minutes to get it in the right place and get it all flat which is difficult with a large piece. Use a good squeegee that is designed for sticker application to squeegee the water out.

I looked at the crawlorado ones. They're nice but too big IMO. that's why I cut my own.

Saw you in Moab last weekend. I was on the way to run a trail before getting the family in Arches. Couldn't stop to gawk at your trailer. Nice weekend for camping and running trails.

Soooooo ticked! I've been shopping for a new FZJ80 to replace my old one. I found the perfect truck in Arizona. 1997 40th Anniversary Edition, White, one owner, 108K miles, Front/Rear/Center Diff locks, Supercharger, uber clean and a great price. I called with cash in hand and it had sold 2 hours earlier.

So the search continues. As soon as I find one, my lift and bumpers etc will get swapped over from my old one and the new Cruiser will become my daily driver. The taco is going to my oldest son.

Does the taco come with a requirement to maintain the build thread on tw? Ha.

Bummer on the FZ! But patience is a virtue when you find the one and finally get it! Good luck in the search

Congrats to your son. My first car was an inherited wheel chair van (long story) and in some ways a little bit of that wheel chair van is in my taco :) there is something about that first vehicle Ni matter what it is, and your son is gettin a good'n. Hope you find the right cruiser sooner than later, cool mobiles.

Soooooo Tanner... seeing as how you did such a good job on your firewall tub, I'm curious if you would like to try your skills on a very boring truck named "Doug". LOL

I'm going to text you right meow.

Once the stuff is swapped over and the stock stuff from the new truck is on my old one, I'll probably sell it as is.

Hmm... I'd love to make a trip to Utah! Are you swapping the lift and everything? The rear locker? How many miles? And do I get a TW discount!
