all about networking buddy. you'll get it, sometimes it just takes a few strike outs. if you get in a funk, don't be afraid to step back and resharpen the blade.

    The better coast
I am not doubting that

I have many friends with near 4.0s who are dumb as a door knob and many friends who have lower GPAs and smart as can be. Unfortunately we have so many people that companies have to go with what they see on paper and hope for the best :notsure:

But related to jobs, there is a concept floating around that as the baby boomers start retiring a mass of jobs will start to open up and we may not have enough people to fill them to meet the demand of our society. And not just in medical/engineering/etc. but in pretty much every field. .

Put your work experience/internship above your gpa. And worse case scenario work your ass off at the internship and they will more than likely offer you a job so gpa wouldn't matter..

Bingo. I was in charge of hiring new employees at my old company, and I never looked at GPA. Granted it was a small company (15 employees), but to me, the experience they had and what they could bring to the table meant a lot more than how well they could regurgitate information on a test.

I never put my GPA on my resume, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. If you are filling out an online application for a company, they may ask for your GPA, but otherwise I would just ignore it.

My biggest regret from college is not taking an internship. I wasn't required to so I said fuck it get my classes done and GTFO.

Apparently a 3.5 isn't good enough for a call back. Bet if I had taken an internship I would have had a job right out of school.
