lol, same here. I take the stairs.
The only elevator I've been on in recent memory was the one on the Space Needle.

Had my double stroller with me so stairs were not an option.

    Hell no.
I wear a rubber because I don't want to have to deal with my own demon spawn.

Why would I want to deal with somebody else's?!

I suppose I shouldn't be shocked that it was in China. When I was over there for work some of the things I saw terrified me. I will give the workers near the hotel I was staying at credit though. They constructed a complete elevated walkway across a major intersection during the three weeks I was there.

On a side note, has anyone here every had the flux capacitor style subwoofer in any of their trucks?

I wouldn't mind getting some bass action back in the truck, but I don't feel like throwing in a line level converter and buying another amp, wiring kit, RCAs and box for the spare Polk sub I have and lose a bunch of storage space. I also don't want to change out the HU as I don't mind it and I like the BT/USB setup.

There's one on CL for $95 which is definitely outside my budget and doesn't appear to have any wiring with it, but if I found one cheap, I don't know if it's worth anything. I know since it's an OEM unit it won't sound all that great, but I'm out of my SQ/SPL phase, I'm more looking to add some low end kick.

    Morning all!

No experience with the flux capacitor subwoofer. I actually passed on a couple of trucks when I was searching because they had that thing, and I'd rather have the space in back than a subwoofer.
Mostly because the subwoofer doesn't do much for talk radio, and 90% of the time that's what I'm listening to :anonymous:

Mike, I'd rather have a fully upgraded system without a subwoofer than the stock system with a half-assed subwoofer. I'd go for cleaner sound for all ranges and a better head unit to power it all.

That sounds lika a soild plan Mike. Doesn't have to be balls to the walls either. Modest upgrade would make a big difference.

    BTW, morning everyone. TGIF

Yeah, it's not going to do much for my WEEI sports radio either!
