    So since your PCV valve is part of the CA emission controls, when you take it in for smog aren't you going to fail the visual inspection?

    Tell them that it prevents you from burning more hydrocarbons and your carbon footprint is smaller, and that the trees are greener because of it. They'll eat that up. :cool:


    Or just swap the hose. ;)

    Yeah, but it's possible the paint on the can may cause cancer there, too risky.

    I had a catch can from Bob's Auto Sports that I took off another vehicle and it was collecting dust. Put it on the Tacoma. Nice fit in the corner with an L-bracket.

    I'm a big fan of Bob's. I like the design of the air flowing up from the bottom and out of the top.

    I'm going to dress it up a bit with better fittings and hose, but it will do for now for sure.
