Royals took Game 2 looking like the same team they have all playoffs. Maybe they just had too much of a break and needed to get back in the swing of things. Honestly, I could see them taking 2 of 3 in SF. Maybe that's wishful thinking.

 

Wouldn't miss it! Amazing to watch...

No they won't. Peavy is our 6th starter. The rest are hurt this year. You won't get past our next 2. I still say giants in 6.

 

As much as I'm enjoying the series I'd love to see 7 games. But I'm still saying Giants in 5.

This year I'm going to the parade.

 

It's going to be a great series and I hope for some more torture, but I really want to see SF win it at home for the first time.

 

At least we don't have to suffer through those tense closings like we did when Wilson was our closer. Man was he good, but always loaded the bases so he could get amped to win it.

I'd be completely down with a TW group Giants game next season, FWIW.

 

All these Giants fans, and no Royals love. The Royals are set up for an NL game just about as good as any AL team. They were something like 8-2 in NL games this year, and before the WS were 3-0 against the Giants. Bumgarner is a true ace for sure, but the rest of the starters aren't unbeatable. If the Royals can get a lead or keep it close through the 6th, their 7-8-9 relievers have been damn near unhittable. Giants might take the Series, but I do think it has potential to be one of the most exciting ones in recent history.

And the Giants have won enough. Royals deserve this one!

I'll never say I want the Giants to lose, but I would love the story if the Royals won, 1985 is a loooooong time ago. I'm a Giants fan, but I'm a fan of baseball and cinderella stories too. I didn't enjoy game 2 as a Giants fan, but I loved watching that entire stadium explode with their home team ahead every 2 out, 2 strike pitch.

 

Yeah, for sure the majority are West Coast people. No harm in anyone being a Giants fan (I actually put them as one of my favorite NL teams).

I just know how awesome it would be for KC to win a professional championship again, especially with how downtrodden that team has been lately. Growing up there, I've been to countless Royals games. Most of the attendance was historically determined by who they were playing, and not on supporting the team. Those years sucked.

If KC won it'd be a great baseball story. If the Giants walk away losing I'm glad its to the Royals.
