2.5 all day every day don't waste money on 2.0s you will just want to upgrade unless you never drive your truck off road

 

And as someone who has had both I noticed a huge difference in my truck when I went from 2.0s to 2.5s and as far as my preference on brand it's all s personal choice they are all around the same price and everyone knows I love my icons

Well I'm thinking I will take this build slow and go all out. Do it once. Can you run 2.5s on stock leafs with a 1.5 AAL?
I wanna get some all pros but until then..

 

No beefs with Jamie at all, just clowning him. I had a budget to stay under with my build and getting the race series lowers was more important than 2.5s in the rear. Granted my ext travel 2.0s are actually limiting my droop in the rear by 2", but that was my fault. I didnt think that EXT travel 6" shocks would bottom out with a 5" leaf pack, but oh well. I have learned so much by working on it with Jason and that knowledge is priceless. My truck sees a lot of dirt and rocks and the 2.0s have done just fine. One day I may upgrade them after I rebuild them and sell them to Andrews wifey for her DB lift.

 

I think you should do more research and talk to some folks who have them. You have an 05 long bed, you need to see Jason's truck. He goes to meets every now and then. That is one person on here that knows how to build and do it with the most bang for the buck.

 

Short bed but I'm still doing research. Brakes seem to be doing good again so I want get on some trails

 

I ran them with the stock pack and now with the allpros

 

I'm going to try to get out tomorrow I think. I have some free time to do so
