Hey guys before you tell me to go search or use the search function.....you should know I have a traumatic brain injury and PTSD and I do use the search function but I always forget what it is I'm searching in the first place as there are so many threads.

Ok...Is there a simple HID upgrade for my 2014? Meaning I don't want to have to cut and splice any thing.

    Thanks for the help.

If you want REAL quality HID, the basic answer is no.

Thanks for your service...........................the easy/cheap way is DDM Tuning $60 bi-xenon H4 setup. Then the light police on the forum will tell you that is rude to other drivers and suggest you go the retro $450-$600 route. Either option is plugnplay.

Thank you and your welcome. Where can I get those?
Regardless of what people think those four words never lose their meaning.

They are more than just words they are a true sentiment and what has been done for our country is never taken for granted or forgotten. I despise the lack of priority of our veterans vs. other less deserving citizens and especially non-citizens too. Shameful.

Looks like H4 hi/lo 35x 5000k (barely bluish) is 49.95.....and lifetime warranty if not mistaken. I have had an H7 set for 5 yrs or so in my car without issue. Same with the H10 set in my truck's fogs.

edit - H10 are the truck fogs, H3 are fogs in my car...............

To be fair, it's not like the "light police" are just saying it is rude. It IS rude, because those light sets are quite blinding to oncoming traffic. This can cause drivers coming the other direction to be somewhat blinded, and could potentially cause an accident. It's your truck and your choice, but it is no different than driving down the road with high beams on all the time. It's rude, plain and simple.

Thanks... I just drove by a DDM this week and almost popped in to ask for an easy conversion for the fog lights. However, last time I was in there, they were 0 help and said to go online and find out what I wanted (while I was inside their store!!). No sale then, and maybe never with me? Like the OP, I would like a plug and play conversion, at least for the fogs... maybe for the main headlights. However, I understand the projection issue. I would like lights that have that perfect looking cut off edge on low beam I have seen photos of posted.

HID's, LED Dash swap, LED reverse lights, 15"x10" 5 slot mags, sliding rear window, 20gal aux. DS fuel tank,
Again, Thank you for your service.

In regards to the perfect cutoff that you're wanting, the only way would be with a preojector retrofit. Though, you do have the option of doing it yourself or purchasing a set from a member offering the service.

There is nothing you can get that is "plug and play". The hid kits say they are plug and play, and they pretty much are, but you do have to wire the harness up. But that's pretty easy. The eBay/Amazon "projector" headlights are halogen "projectors" only, and use your stock lights. You can get the hid kit to use in them though for better light output, or you can just get the hid kit for your stock housings. But again, anything hid requires a little wiring work, basically power and ground, then plugging the relay harness into your stock wiring, and mounting the ballasts. That's it.

My mandatory lighting is halogen on all my vehicles and my optional lighting is HID so move on. There is plenty of oem lighting that are just as bright and annoying or rude or blinding as any HID kits are so cry about those too. I drive to work in dark every day and there are always cars with stupid oem shit that looks like brights going up overpasses and then not when driving on level ground and then their damn cutoff twinkling between bright and dim when hitting bumps. Much more annoying than something that is constant light whether bright or dim. My fogs are pointed where no one ever is flashing me even if I do use them. My halogen brights and light bar HID Hellas with the HID fogs that will stay on with brights are the ones that you are talking about. They are super rude and meant to be so yeah, I got polite lighting for normal folks and I got super bright blinding fuckhead lighting for fuckheads. Take your righteous mission up with inspection stations that pass vehicles with rude mandatory lighting or law enforcement that doesn't ticket for offroad lighting being uncovered or used on roadways. You're wasting your time and breath with me about the lighting and I'd be more interested in a pair of the hubs y'all are doing rather than blowing $540 on some retros whenever the truck might get around to needing new wheel bearings.

I'll be here for the bearings, but no, the ones you mentioned in the bold statement are not the ones I am talking about. I am talking about those who go out and buy these "HID" xenon kits that replace their factory bulbs, and blind the crap out of people. It is pretty common here for sure since we are in the country, and there are tons of deer and bear crossing the road.
