I need all the help I can get from the coolest truck owners in the world (tacoma owners) I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma X- Runner and I was doing some research on the TRD and the RUD superchargers. I was wondering which one is better? Thanks everyone.

URD won't work on the 09's because it uses the x-1 and the computer plugs are different then the 05-08s.

    Go TRD.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.

Believe me.........there are times that I would give it away. If I had to do it over again, I would go URD. You won't get the whine from their's like you do TRD because of the blower style, but you do get great HP and customer service!!

Is his motor built? I doubt it will last long if it isn't.

Until changes have been made, the TRD is it. Wait just a little while and see if APR comes out with compatible computer. As of now, if you go with the TRD, they have to reflash your computer and that can be a hassel of it's own when the time comes to add more mods.

Why R U going a differ route? I've heard Gadgets truck and the blower URD uses does make some noise, but still less then the TRD one. I love my TRD Blower and am satisfied with how it runs with the X-1,AFE stageIII Si intake,URD 2.85" pulley and a full exhaust. Yes it could be faster but it's a daily driver with 350hp and that's cool for me:D

which direction are u headed for new FI?

I would hold off and see what kind of input Balboa has to say about his turbo setup being fabbed up in the next month or so.
