Burro Wash trail is not that bad. A stock 5 gen 4runner made it through without a problem.

It's been years since I was down burro but the first 75% of it is basball sized type rocks that kinda rattle you to death. There's a decent drop down to the river at the very end. The climb up that drop on your way home is the only challenge at all. I did it in a 2wd truck with a spool but would think just about any stock 4wd truck could make it. I'm not sure I'd want to try it in a stock 2wd though without a tow strap and a 4wd friend.

Burro Wash is a fun trail, but be prepared: it is very rocky. 2WD can make it, but it's not recommended. The trail ends at Lake Mohave. I also wouldn't recommend stock height trucks do this trail, as there are some very large rocks in some parts.

Burro Wash was a VERY fun trail!!! But like stated above, I would not recommend it on anything less than 32" and an eLocker. My rig is a stock '02 Taco 4x4 on 32" and I scraped my skid plate on a couple of nice sized boulders. Here are some pictures but of course, they don't do the trail justice.

No, unfortunately I didn't but the water level was very low it seemed. The smell was pretty bad.

there are a couple fun spots on this trail and some optional lines down in the lower wash. nothing difficult 4x4 wise but there are some awesome sights on the trail. there"s also a good chance you will see wild big horns and donkeys. Ive heard the fishing can also be good down at the end.

Alberta but my family has a home in Vegas. I was planning on bringing my truck down this year but I am not sure if the family will be heading down at all. I could always go without them... ;)

Welp, looks like I need a new battery.

I have a couple of things for 2nd Gen tacomas. I would like to sell it as a bundle but if I got buyers for all of them then I'll be cool with that. If you take it all then I would like to get $220.

    Eyelids, $30
Behind the grille light mount with the lights on them, $120
Some weathertechs for double cab, gray, $90

and last is a satoshi grille that I was never able to fix. The face plate came undone and was never able to glue it back. Free if you want it.

You guys planning on Burro Wash soon? I've done it before. Fun trail. Super bumpy at first but ends at the river. Cool little private beach spot. I'm back in town next week from work so I'm looking for a little getaway.

Sam, how's it going man? Any updates on some new parts? I owe you some labor!

Hey Fred. I haven't done anything with the truck lately. I'm trying to talk the lady into getting me something for Christmas, but probably wishful thinking.
How are the new LCA's working out?

Hopefully she'll surprise you. LCAs are good. I'm about to weld on all the TC gussets so I don't bend anything else. Decided to sell my fiberglass front fenders and put the stock back on, but I cut the radius of it to match the rear cuts. I like it much better. Just put a Flowmaster on as well. Sounds awesome. It's coming together.

I might be good for a run down there in a couple weeks (11/8 or 9).
