I love it and seems like alot less bs!! Ill wait till i figure out this axle bs before continuing but also a skid plate showed up today

 

Skids installed, since i was a proto type for this manufacture there were some issues but nothing a die grinder and cutting disc cant fix. I happy with the way it turned out and my hod does it ever stiffen ur frame up lmao. Ill post pics and good stuff tomorrow right now i need a beer yo numb the back pain that was induced during install

 

Wish me luck boys fingers crossed...not saying for what atm.

Oh along with my skids I got my LCA skids re coated too!! so purdy!!

 

Well..... It is time for an update
nothing major has happened, but to fill in.
since my last update i have been in repair mode and also the truck is parked. MY clutch decided it wanted to go so it was time to fix that, but the real issue is my rear axle. After my third rear diff with no abuse to to drive line, I decided to do a little more digging. and well my housing is snafued and in need of replacement. I am led to believe that I bought the truck is this way.

I am in the middle of building an axle with a lc 9.5 and have the parts for my clutch ready to install... as soon as i get it all ill post eye candy

Also I have done lots of research and in hopes it pays off

 

New rear locker purchased today

Hey did you say you rolled 315/65r16s on just the 3 inch lift and what's your lift to roll 35s??? Nice build by the way enjoyed reading this!!

 

Yup 35's on ome lift there is lots of cutting to get there...

diamond axle housing designed around a LC9.5
with 4runner chromoly axles and disk brakes
OEM spec suspention perch

Reason for 4runer is wanted to keep the abs lights off on my dash so well see if it works

well to make the taco road worthy had to make a few things right, first on my list was to fix my dual battery connection to the remote... it was the stupidest connection so i made it a proper connection. Dont look pritty but it works great.


After I got that working itme to start the real project... The clutch :/
so in two hours i had the tranny out last night and started on the house cleaning.


sorry for bad photo my lens on the phone was dirty so I cleaned it for day two
Old stage 4 CC clutch that made it seem to everyone that I was retarded and didnt know how to drive


cleaned up a little and installed new flywheel and clutch and pressure plate


so after that time to fight with the tranny to get it back in wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be


got it all back together and fitted happy

got the armour back on


READY TO ROCK AND ROLL..... Disappointment
still had to assemble the interior


finally after all that was put back together it was time to takefor a test drive, first ten feet you could tell the truck was happier... parked outside my bay door... truck was trying to tell me something



lol
after the test drive I can honestly say I am soo happy that I rid of that drag racing clutch I can actually drive now and not get whiplash!!
