Thought I would check in once again since it's been since 08 that I have been here!! Finally coming back to the Taco world . Have pretty much finalized a deal for a 14 Baja access cab 6sp manual with the short shifter. This will be my forth Toyota pickup with two being the original pickups a 1990 reg cab 4x4, and a 1992 reg cab deluxe 4x4 I believe it was. Had a 08 DC TRD ORP for a very short time. Been doing the Subie STI thing as well as having owned a 2010 Exo X to the present. I have been interested in the Baja truck since the initial press releases back in 2011. I have found the truck I have wanted way back then...
Stumbled upon it while searching for a used Tacoma:). It's nicely optioned. Entune prem auto/nav, quick shifter, front skid plate, tow pkg, and all wx flooring with all wx mats. Don't really dig the DC and really love the 6 sp man tranny.
Going to really miss the EVO, but excited to get back into a Tacoma..;)

Great to hear! I know there has been some neg comments about the cost of the pkg, etc, but I am not into the modifying thing anymore! Been there done that!
86 Ford Ranger with a 4" suspension lift/ 2" body, changed pinion gears to 4.11's due to running 33 BFG tires, Smitty built bumpers, roll bar with KC headlights, and I think even threw on some headers for the mighty 2.3 4 banger it had in it:D.. It's nice just to buy a truck done up with goodies from the factory
    Very cool!

My favorite OE wheels by a long shot. (I'm not a fan a the huge graphics) but could live with it, if the deal was sweet enough.

Awesome looking truck OP. Seeing the graphics make me think of blacking the emblems and grille.

Picked it up this afternoon!!:D. Love it... Got a decent deal 1700 off MSRP.. Ended up buying the extended warranty for $300.. I usually don't do any extras, but seems like a fair price for the extra coverage in the future. All in all a painless pleasant experience. Bought it from Carver Toyota in Taylorsville IN! Ken Gregory aka Indytruckchampion here on the forum is the truck manager there he Rocks!! Great to deal with highly recommended !!

Nice truck. Funny to see someone being a member for 7 years and only having 19 posts. You coming from an EVO and me coming from a WRX, and now we both recently went into a Tacoma. Lol. It seems to be a common theme with several of us here.

Well I didn't have my 08 DC very long:rolleyes:, so didn't hang out here very often:D
I have actually owned 2 STI's as well!! 2007 and 2008... Amazing cars as you know.

Thanks man! The manual tranny was a big reason I bought the truck.. Really missed the manual in my last Taco..

Nice looking truck, when I bought my 14 TRD offroad 4x4 almost a year ago I asked about one of those.
The dealer said they stopped making them for 2014.
I guess they were blowing smoke up my a$$.

You know if you do a google search 2014 Tacoma Baja their are results that say the truck is/was discontinued for 14:confused: I happened to see that a few days while researching the truck.. Kind of weird!!

Are the bodyside graphics decals? I've never seen one in person...
