Put on a 30" bar, I think it looks better, going to throw the old 20" on the 2wd.

Put in new sparkplugs (the right ones), new spark plug wires and a few other little engine things. Sounds like it's running a lot happier. It can do a burnout :D

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
replaced the oil seals on the front output shaft of the TC..

spray painted some shit.. like my skids again and the brand new Moog OTRE which rusted in like a week!

and narrowed down the strange squeak coming from under my truck to the u-joint/flange where the drive shaft meets the 3rd member.. not sure how to fix it though, u joint seems perfectly fine and theres no leaks anywhere.. idk

I finally caved and rode my bike up to Radio Shack (benefit of living in a city) to buy some 100 Ohm, 1 Watt resistors to fix the well known issue with LED map & dome light problems when the ignition isn't on/accessory. I was too lazy to take photos of the process since it is documented already.

Tested the dome light several times by sitting inside and closing the door. Pretty much 30 seconds on the dot before fade out when on the DOOR setting. Keyless/Alarm lock and unlock flashes it on and off no problems.

Then I left the map lights on and I just watched out my window with a timer set for 30 minutes. It took about 32 minutes to turn off on its own.

Haha! That's how I learned. My drunk friend gave me a lesson in the parking lot when I was in high school. No power steering!

Lemme guess. The barb on the back side of the supercharger right after the throttle body?

Yup. Kind of ticked at myself and the instructions (or lack of clarity thereof) but glad I finally found it.

I just sat down with the instructions last night around 10pm and went step by step. Came across the one about moving the plug from the rear of the plenum to the barb near the throttle body spacer and said "huh?" Decided to go down to the garage, crawled up into the engine compartment with my headlight on and said "huh." Got the cap off the plenum and plugged it. Drove in to work this morning and the engine sounded much happier.

The instructions are terribad. I wish I had known what I was doing so I could have made step-by-step instructions complete with legible pictures in my build thread.

There were a couple places where I had to make a best guess. Luckily, Toyota makes their stuff hard to screw up.

It's super easy. Just run the tank down as far as you can so it's as light as possible.

A buddy and I were looking at hoisting the bed. I wanted to get in there and touch up rust spots on the frame. If that doesn't look like fun, I've got a transmission jack that should make short work of dropping the tank. I'll have to keep reminding myself, as the day approaches, not to fill up.
