October wheeling trip

Traffic coming out of Houston at 4:30pm. No good.


Driving further than normal. Hope it's worth it.


Pulled into camp SHR at 9:00pm.


Broke up into two groups, "big trucks" and "small trucks". We got stuck with small trucks and did level 2 and 3.


I followed the Bronco for the first part of Saturday down Clyde's Ravine. My 4Runner got a little tipsy. Hopefully some of the TX4WD guys got a picture of this.


Nice Sunday cruise that was even easy for the 4Runner.

That descent off Sierra Skyview was worse than Binder Blvd. Get your sliders on.

 

I don't take near as many pics as I used to. I brought the Gopro and forgot to use it and only took 2 videos.

I wish I took the video from Sierra. It would have made for awesome metal hitting rock noises.

 

Ditto. I want to do many trails the other way around. This was my 3rd trip to BMRA but my 1st to actually get around leading instead of following and see alot to get a good feel for the park.

 

I think next time I won't bring as much crap.

And also wear closed toe shoes, even at camp.

Agreed. That run sucked for me with open/open. Faired pretty well on most trails though.
