A guy at work had something similar happen to his Scion. He hit a raccoon while coming to work. When he got out to look and see if there was damage, he saw the raccoon behind the grill area. It was trapped but alive. When it hit, the grill had given just enough to let the raccoon in and then closed back up once the raccoon was in there. They had to pry it open to let the raccoon run away.

Had the same kind of thing happen too a friend in HS,, late at night on a county road, car coming at him hit the deer, it must have went up in the air cause it came down on my buddy's roof of his maverick and he never seen it until it hit. Totaled the car pushing the roof down to the dashboard.

 

There's a picture of a SUV that hit a deer and the deer got sliced in half when it hit the roof. The passenger seat got sprayed with the stomach contents/blood/shit whatever else....

My friend and I were on the highway when I deer jumped out in front of us. My friend hit the deer mid air. It then tumbled followed by me running it over. The front end of my car was off of the ground. The deer eventually came out from underneath in 3 pieces. All I heard was thud, my low coolant light came on, and the instant smell of burning fur and flesh. My friend had deer snot on his windshield, a small dent in the fender, and fur in the body lines. Lucky for him the deer didn't jump higher, since he owned a convertible.

I would have never guessed to look under the center cap if I needed to put more air in that tire.

Are you sure about this? In order for Alpina to relocate the valve stem to the hub, one of the spokes has to be hollow.

 

could it not just be a long valve stem like 18 wheelers have that runs behind a spoke and then enters the hub?
