    If I remember correctly, there is a bolt inside of the alumimum bracket, I tried taking it off and couldn't and found out I had to take out a bolt inside the bracket and it literally just fell off..

    Altho mine is a 2012..may be different

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    IIRC, all i ever had to do was remove the 3 nuts from each side and it practically fell off...

    I wish that was the case here... and I do have all 3 nuts on both sides removed so im not completely dumb

    WOOT got it. Thanks everyone.. took 3 screwdrivers and 2 cresent wrenches to get it loose. The holes in the aluminum were literally stuck on the threads of the bolts. Checked the bolt threads and they werent damaged just had aluminum shavings all in them from essentially scraping the crash bar across the bolts
