Well, almost time to start thinking about doing the front pads on my 2013 DCSB
What would people suggest? Definitely want ceramic, have seen the TRD pads and they look decent, but would people suggest otherwise?

I'm not that crazy when it comes to on-road. However, off-road I am nuts. Always on the trails on the weekends.

do you think the noise would have reduced if the pads wore down some?

I have the Hawk Super duty pads, and they're quiet. All the brake noise I've ever heard were the drum brakes when wet.

^^^ when you wheel hard, you brake harder...or something. :notsure: I thought it was a bit premature for mine to start squeaking too...I'm gonna check out my pads and maybe get my rotors turned if they seem to have good life in them left.

Yeah I drive maybe 40 miles a day if I am lucky, but on the weekend I go through a tank of gas in 2 days trailing and mudding. Definitely want something that is gonna last in the elements, especially with SNOW coming :) :) :)

Putting brakes on my 2010, putting on stop tech rotors and hawk LTS pads.... Flushed the brake fluid this spring with the lift, some of the fluid in the lines was nasty....

Just did a complete front and rear brake job on my son's 4x4 V6 6 speed manual Tacoma. Did brand new drums and shoes for the rear. For the front I went with EBC slotted rotors and green pads. After a month of running the green pads, the brake dust is pretty heavy. No problems with anything other than more brake dust than what the factory pads had. Today I swapped out the EBC green pads for Hawk ceramic's. Hopefully this will cure the excessive brake dust problem.

Dredging this up. Looking at going with Hawk lts up front, what would be a good pairing for the rear drums?
