Ex '13 WRX owner here as well, although I had a lapse in Tacoma ownership during that time, as I was daily driving a '13 FX4, EcoBoost F-150 while I had my WRX.

Truthfully I miss my WRX, and even though lots of people talk a lot of trash about the 2008-2014 WRX & STi's, I prefer the styling of those years to the more squared off, and IMO less aggressive looking current model.

Nope!;) only thing I did to my 07 STI, 08 STI, and lastly the Evo X was do the Cobb Tuning ECU flash. Left them all basically stock.. I had a 05 Evo MR that was all stock baby! Unmolested!! Like I said I am done with that stuff! I am a old fart at 47:D

Very nice, I kicked my self after I bought my sedan, as I really wanted a hatch instead. IMO the hatch always looked best.

I notice a lot of Tacoma owners, are ex or current Subaru or VW owners.

*Edit* I just noticed one nit-picky item on your Evo, did the factory really mount outside wheel weights on those stock $$$ BBS wheels? I only notice this, as it bugs the snot out of me Toyota put outside weights on my '14 Tacoma TRD. Got a flat a week ago, and now there is an ugly gouge where the oem weight used to be.

Yep! Bugged the crap out of me as well. I never had those tires balanced so not to blemish them.. Mitsu has done that on all generation Evo's pretty sure.. Correct me if I am wrong, but weights on outside balance better or are not prone to fly off at high speeds.

Also - if anyone is looking for one. Now that the last 14 is gone.... I have a 2015 TRD Pro Access Cab (automatic) coming in late December. First one with a deposit gets to call it theirs....

    Do the supercharger!

The you can get back into the 300/300/6MT realm like the STi!

<--- Current MY06 STi owner. I should probably take mine out of the garage one or two more times before I park it for the winter...I put like 2,000 miles on it this year, if that.

Old thread, I know, but I think that's the truck I now own. Purchased in SW Ohio a couple years ago.

I love the 6 speed and the supercharger!

Nice..... Traded it in for a 17 Cement Pro Taco. Yes it was a very fun truck with the 6sp and SC. Did you pick it from Performance Toyota in Fairfield OH? If I remember correctly they keep dropping the price on that thing every week. You prob got one helluva a deal. Looks good!!

Ha, I think I was about to try and buy that truck but ended up with mine first! I saw it on craigslist in Ohio and it was nearly bone stock other than the TRD supercharger. If I remember right it was an incredible deal at the time, I wanna say around 95k miles and asking was about $20-22k
You don't see many access cab 6-speeds, let alone with the supercharger! Welcome to the club
