    Brake line extender? You just used a spacer instead of longer lines? Interesting. Not a bad idea.

    Total Chaos +2" Long Travel, Coil Bucket Gussets, Spindle Gussets, LCA Cam Gussets, Glassworks 4" fenders, B.A.M.F. rock sliders with fill plates, Decked Drawer system, aFe CAI, Borla Cat-back exhaust, Blitzpro 21S LED light bar w/ B.A.M.F. behind the grill light bar mount, Red Label Off-road tube bumper, Redline hood struts, Grillcraft grill, Weather Tech floor mats, HID headlights and fog lights... It has more stuff done to it now.
    These brakets are originally ment to go under the rubber wheather strip though and come up around the edge of it right? So doing the nylon spacers probably lifted it up an inch or so?

    What's the cover you have on the light bar?

    No!...the brackets are meant to go on top of the strip. If you mounted it under the strip then the strip would be loose and not connect as it would go over the bracket base and not have the trough groove to connect to. The covers are surf board rail covers that I removed the foam from. Then wrapped them around the lights and secured with Velcro straps...

    If you guys are refering to the white spacer...that might have been installed a while back when I originally had a spacer lift. I never removed those, so it might be exsisting hardware from then. Sorry for my uncertainty on that. I'll have to double check...

    Thanks for the compliment.. BTW...there are no brake line extenders! All stock. I plan on running new ext brake lines shortly:D

    Oh ok, I think I saw someone mount theirs under the weather strip but it looked like they had to hack it up a lot to get it to fit around the bracket.

    I was talking about the nylon bushing spacers you used on the light bar bracket. I don't know what anyone else was referring to.

    If someone mounted theirs under the strip that would be a disaster!...lol Those little nylon spacers are something you can get at the local hardware store. They come in various sizes, so you can find the one that matches the bolt diameter you need. The height of the spacer should sit right at the top of the rubber strip once it's set in place...not above it (as in my thread pic). You can mill the spacers to the exact height to be perfect if needed.

    Rick...I never noticed those spacers before elevating the brake line structure...lol Like I said...prob there from the spacer lift I removed except for those...lol I forgot about them...:p But yeah...not a bad idea to save money on extended lines. Just pop in a long spacer to lift it...lol

    Rick, every time I see rock lights mounted in the wheel well I think they will get toasted by debris in no time, at least covered in mud and rendered ineffective. Is that really the best place for them? Have you tried them out at night?

    Have you ever seen the Rigid Rock Lights up close? They're pretty much bullet proof. Case hardened with a thick ass lens cover and sealed air/water tight. Rigid makes the best lights bar none. And yes...if you were mudding they could easily get covered, but then again...mudding at night?...lol Mostly for night time driving in dry conditions would be the best situation for Rock Lights, i.e. Moab...:D The mount points need to be in those places as there is no where else to put them to get full coverage around the vehicle unless you mounted roof top lights. An that's not what I want. I think the best reason to get them is the fact that when I'm out somewhere at night for dinner or at the Mall and my car is in a big ass parking lot...when I hit the remote unlock on my truck, it lights up like the North Star...:cool:

    BTW...did you see my night shots on this thread a few pages back? Plenty of light coverage around the vehicle

    Yes...on the fronts it goes through the fender wall into the engine bay. The liner couldn't support the light being stable. The sides are mounted into the frame and the rears through the bed side.
