Epic fail at building a shed

is it still standing? i havent visited the thread since winter started. figured the first snow would have brought it down.

I don't even know anything about carpentry...and damn I can tell that is shit. My dad built a shed and it is WAY better than that.

Correct, so you may have to walk through crap just to get killed in a structure that has a 75% of collapsing as you open the door.

 

That shed will stand for a decade at least

 

If you layer enough tarpaper and shingles on the top to effectively keep the water and elements out, and somehow manage to actually attach the roof arches to the top of the box, you actually have a bunch of artificially created structural integrity. It can become oddly self-improving.

It'll still be a poorly constructed, not weathertight, drafty, shitty deathtrap. But with even cheaply treated lumber....if you get the enough sealing on the roof edge, that bitch'll stand a while.
