got my bruteforce rear bumper, that I purchased from a TW member. I wanted to get a front bumper from them also but never heard back from them.

 

What lights are those in the rear? I'm still looking for lights for mine.

These are what I recommend. They put out a ton of light and have two different colors. You can have reverse and flash if you want.

The Apollo's fit if you take off the black surround.

 

Anyone get their bumpers or hear from billy? It seems like the same problem is Goin on in the elite bumper gb...getting nervous

 

Pretty sure he is still MIA. Last I have heard from him was "Hey man your bumper is done and shipping out tomorrow" and that was July the 25th. I am way past my nervous stage, and now im just annoyed. IF he ever decides to reach out to anyone, let him know alot of people want their money back haha

 

I don't understand why billy has been so unresponsive to his customers. It's a shame. I have both his front and rear bumpers and they are flawless. He just needs someone who can run just a phone and a small office.

Love his bumpers I got mine delivered mid June, sounds like I was one of the last ones to get em. It's a shame his customer service is so lacking when his fab skills are so good.

 

I've been waiting over 6 months and am out $350 deposit. I've personally seen his work and its awesome. Too bad he couldn't keep up with everything.

 

I think I was the last person to receive a Brute Force bumper about 6 weeks ago.

 

Some guy named Mario o think with a white taco just posted on the TW on fb that he got his. He had also posted multiple "call me billy" comments on billys fb page

 

Hopefully things are looking up...kind of annoyed with all the IG comments about him, like I'm supposed to know where everyone's shit is....lol I have his bumpers and support his work 100% but that doesn't mean I work for him

 

Luckily I don't have to deal with that as much. I am sure everything will get worked out soon enough.

 

Sent an email and called the number on his website (no answer, but left a message).

To say "I'm worried" is an understatement... The wait continues..

 

Everyone that is posting about not getting their bumpers or whatever need to stop being worried about hurting someones feelings and just file dispute for a refund already. I like Billy and I like his work but enough "I'm worried" etc posts get your money back and contact any of the other vendors on here that make close to the same damn bumper for close to the same price already. If he doesn't want your money then get it back from him.

 

I spoke to Billy for what has amounted to multiple hours about what was going on with his dad (before he went completely MIA). I get what he is going through, I just went through that same scenario this spring with my old man.

I was lucky enough to receive my bumpers (waaay after proposed deadline because he incorrectly fabbed my first front bumper). Even on the second time around, he screwed up a bunch of stuff on it. Some of the details I paid for and didn't receive, I was shorted 2 sets of lights, and my tire carrier showed up broken and was fabricated so far off the mark I had to pay $150 to have it corrected so it fit my truck.

The point in all of this is that as a respectable business owner you have a responsibility to your customers. You also have a duty to not fuck them over when they are spending thousands of dollars to support you. Using family as an excuse is unacceptable. Life happens, and it's dishonorable to use their death as a reason to go off the map and disrespect clients by ignoring them.

This isn't some bullshit lightbar group buy gone bad, this is an established vendor of this site who has taken THOUSANDS of dollars of people's money and disappeared. That's called theft, and it doesn't sit well with me.

Before I get flamed by the people who may know Billy, understand this: This isn't personal, it's business. I have spoken to Billy a lot on the phone in the past year, and he seems like a great guy. We have a lot in common, and he appeared to me to be a genuinely decent human being.

That being said, Billy has made some pretty big mistakes here with his business. Everyone deals with loss differently, but damn man, step up and take care of business so you can go grieve and do your thing. There's a lot of people who don't take kindly to pissing hard earned money down the drain, and it's going to end up in a lawsuit.

I have a set of BF bumpers,got them fast last yr. But reading all of this pisses me off too. I'm not a fan boy. Just do what's right. Can't anyone get a refund? This is bullshit.

What's the point of the count? Like Newlife said, if you don't want to wait anymore, get a refund. Complaining here is obviously getting nowhere.
