Nope, and I just realized that you are 2wd so, no front to lock. The only option you have for the ARB is to go junk yard searching for an 8.4" rear to swap out to, should be able to find one for under 300.00.

Depends on which 4.56 gears you go with. If you get the Nitro thick cut 4.56s, you'll need the RD121.

Is this same case for front and rear?
I'm considering 4.56 Nitro thick cut but only need front locker.

    Thanks

Correct, you'll need the extra space to fit the thick cut gears.

I think Nitro only makes thick cut gears for the front. Anyone know the answer...

Correct, Nitro (and Yukon) only make the thick cut for the front. If you go with thick cut gears (4.56 or 4.88) on the front of a 2nd gen with the 8" clamshell, you need the RD121.

I have a 2011 dcsb sport. I am only running 265 75 16 tires, so I don't think I have to worry about regearing. I think I may get a set of trail wheels with 285s, but I would prob only use them for wheeling and have another set for commuting.

Would I just need the RD129 with lines and a compressor if I wanted to run a rear air locker? Are there other advantages or benefits to regearing that I'm overlooking?
