Nice! I need to deaden my truck eventually.

Weird, my mom chose the Nissan Altima over the camry. She said the camry felt cramp and sluggish. But idk. I've only driven her Altima.

So I think I there is a slight chance that my overheating is coming from a bad radiator cap. Reason for this, because my truck starts overheating while driving on the freeway for about 45 minutes or so. I put my moms radiator cap on my truck for a day or two to test my theory. I just drove around with A/C on and kinda had it revved for a while and it didnt really even brake into the 190's. If this is it then Ill be buying a new one.

Got a free recovery strap at work the other day. 2"x20' 6000lb load capacity. Would this still work in a pinch or do I need a strong strap?

If you're desperate to get out, yes. But don't go yanking on the strap. That's useful in a situation when SLOW and STEADY pulling force is used. None of this jeep bullshit I saw this weekend taking a 2" strap with slack and just mashing on it. Swear to god I heard one of the dumbasses steel bumpers crack from it. I was glad I was standing away.

Only use forceful recovery when all else fails. There is always an easier and safer way to recover a vehicle

Isn't that the point of a snatch strap? Doesn't it stretch or something?

Snatch straps are different all together, but it's still not the preferred way to go. A lot of my manual friends have them. They're good when you need a little head start but I personally don't trust them

Plus I was answering your question about the 2"x20' 6000lb strap..... Wasn't talking about all straps

Who here is part of the TWFB page (non AZ version) ?
Do you find it as humorous as I do?
Most recently the 20 year old wanting to trade his Tacoma for an Audi and asking what a bunch of Tacoma enthusiasts think of it...
