Looked around and noticed alot of people fitting some nice quads in their beds, both long and short beds. But I didn't see anyone with a Yamaha Banshee. Reason I am asking is I might be able to pick one up this weekend and dunno if it will fit. I think that they are slightly wider than most, but can't really tell from its spec sheet. So I am just wondering if anyone has tried fitting a Banshee in a 2nd Gen bed? Thanks for the help.

Haven't fit a banshee in but unless it has wheel spacers or extended a arms I don't think it would be a problem. If it is wide just life up on the frame to take some of the preload off narrow the wheel base. <---Did that make sense?

Made perfect sense. That's kinda what I was thinking. I am still hoping someone pops up with some pics or experience with a Banshee. I know my old LTZ fit perfectly in there.

not 100%, but stock for stock, i think my trx450r is wider than a stock banshee. you shouldnt have any problems hauling it. if it has extended arms/ axle...then try what the poster abover said.
    good luck man:thumbsup:

I have +.5 on each side a arms on a trx450(1st gen with a drop in bed liner) and I still have a little bit of room. It should fit just fine.

What model is it? Post up some specs :)

it should fit no problem since the 2nd gen is wider. my banshee fit in my 86 and 88 yota but just had to pop the front wheels over the wheelwells.blew out the rear window with banshee front bumper trying to close tailgate.
    my shit is gangster

if the ltz fit the shee will fit fine its no wider then any other sport atv. i actually need to double check to see if any of mine will fit with the toolbox, (mx 450r, mx 250r, and the ex's should fit fine.)
