Yep, that's how it goes. I'm lucky and do 99% of my work in chemical and food plants where there is never ending maintenance. The place I been working in for the majority of the last 6 months is a 60 year old food plant. There's always maintenance to do when working in panels that look like this ......

Alsooo, I'll have 3 trd sport wheels with BFG AT's in 265/70r17 for sale in about a month. 2 of them are pretty well worn but have probably 5-6k miles left in them. The other has a little bit more (10k-ish). I wouldn't suggest for them to be used as your regular tires but will be great for spares. I will also have the standard spare with whatever tire came on it (dueler h/t in 265/65/16? I think)

I like those. I've seen them on other tacomas and they look really good. I wouldn't put them on my truck but I like the beadlock look. And I like Mike's idea of gold. Combine that with purple anodized lugs and slotted rotors ....... Oh yeah!!!!!

 

So kari, got rear ended last light right behind me. the damage isn't too bad, the other girls car took most of it. now I want to chop the exhaust and put a plate bumper on the 4Runner too

 

My buddy keeps trying to get me to hit his 4runner from behind so he can get a plate bumper and new hatch because his is rusting on his 08.

No. I love that thing. 130,000 miles and runs like day one, just needs tires.

 

So how much are y'all expecting to pay just to ride and camping for 1 person to ride and camp? I really want to go, but it will be my luck to bend a tie rod or sling a drive shaft. Could anyone bring a pump so I can put diff fluid in my front differential? I don't have one and I think mine might be low. When turn the wheel coming out of a parking spot, it clanks a little bit.

 

Go to valvoline, they check and top off differentials for free.

 

So... I'm thinking about get a camper shell for my truck... any opinions as to whether or not to run one?

Do it! It will take less than 30 minutes.

 

took me 10, that was after i got the parts. Getting the parts takes 1,000 times longer than doing the mod it self.

fine, It took me 30 minutes because I dropped the spare and took a few minutes to figure out how I wanted to run the hose. and add a minute to put the truck in the air..... I did it at the shop

 

Super easy mod. Not sure if I've actually needed it at this point but it gave me something to do
