I am looking for some help with this. I would like to do this with some help, I am in Gwinnett County, GA and would be willing to drive up to 75-80 miles for some help. What fluid do I need and how much of it? Ill turn the wrenches if you will teach me how to do this. Id like for the person to have done this to their truck at least once... Please let me know if yall can help.

he knows the info is there, he posted in one of the threads asking if someone could help him.

Are you able to change your own oil? this really isn't that complicated. I do see where an extra hand would be helpful in turning the truck off while you monitor the fluid coming out. someone mentioned that it takes 7 seconds for a quart to come out which is plenty slow enough.

Excellent. I'm a hands on kind of guy also. From looking at the how to's that have been written it looks like the hardest parts are getting it into temp mode and figuring out which line is the return line. Seems like it's just a hair more challenging than an oil change. I have not done this myself yet but will be doing it in 5k miles.

Just as a thought I am planning on using valvoline maxlife ATF when I flush mine. You could just do a drain and fill (3 qts ish) and do another in like 5k or 10k?

Maybe every 10k drain and fill? Do you tow with your truck or anything?
