I agree that there is no one tire that will be perfect for everyone. I've never gotten a flat while offroad with a BFG AT on the 4 different Tacomas I've had. I avoid mud like the plague though so I can't speak to mud performance.

I'm a fan of the BFG AT KO2 but my next tire will probably be a 33x12.5r15 Baja TA.

I just got mine installed on Saturday... seem to be working just fine on the pavement...no major road noise. I will be testing them off-road this weekend and post up a review after that.

    Installed today. 265/75/16

Very quiet on the road and ride just as smooth as my Geolanders did. Hell the Geolanders were actually just a touch louder, not that they were noisy.

I almost bought duratracs Saturday but then I remembered that I do not need a mud terrain because the majority of my driving is highway, so I will be buying a set of KO2s around thanksgiving and give em a try. I really need a tire that's great in the snow because last year in Houghton, MI we had the most snow in the country for about 2 weeks straight. This will be the test for the tire.

i own duratracs and i'm sure most will agree that they aren't considered a mud terrain tire. in fact, they are branded as the exact same "all terrain" class as the ko2's your looking at as well as being winter rated.

Just got mine installed today. I can feel the difference going Load E over my stock Rugged Trails. The tires feel stiffer on the road and steering is heavier, which I like. Acceleration is slightly less, but it's minimal.

The KO2's have the severe snow traction symbol on them.

What's the biggest size I can fit stock without rubbing? And do you think the 2016's will have these stock?
