San Diego BS Thread.

Whats up all. New to San Diego. Just wanted to say hi.
My name is Mike, been a long time member, I've had my taco since 2007, but new to SD as of a month ago.

I'm going to be upgrading my suspension over the next few months so hopefully by new years I'll be able to start joining with trips.

I know. I wished they were like the new trucks. $9 a handle online and be here by the weekend. Let see if they last a few years

 

I looked for quite a while in Socal for a used 4x4 OR with manual transmission and was stumped. Ended up looking for a new one here and had the same results, also realized the new ones in San Diego seem to sell for less than a used one.

So I drove up to Idaho and got exactly what I wanted at a way better price.

 

My Amazon or RA ones only lasted 5 months and my passenger side door is the tough one to open even from stock. Both sides have broken so just buy back ups if anything.

 

They come with a year warranty, so hopefully it isn't a few month issue. They open easy now with the broken handle. It looks like I need to clean it yearly. The glass fenders just jam all the dirt inside the door. "Race truck" problems.

 

No race truck here, I prefer pre runner with luxuries haha.

 

Whats up guys new to SD from NY. Been on the road for a month and a couple days driving across the country and what not. Looking forward to meets and such

Probably gonna hit up Ocotillo this weekend, racing the following weekend. Weather in OW is supposed to be mid 70's sat and sun!

I'm going to try to be there if I can get my AFR's to run at an efficient mix. Didn't realize pulling off the 2 pcv hoses would give me an extra 2psi and throw my AFR's off the wall.

 

Turbo problems right. I love it but hate it just as much. Did pulling off the hoses at least solve the oil leak issue. Wonder if you had an air leak.
