    Not near my face.

So you can get 55lbs in a civic, but only 35lbs in a taco?

I'm no expert but that sounds silly haha.

Dont judge my laziness. I have food. Beer. And all I need. But I do want to power wash my truck which involves going into town just to do that.

Yup. When I deaden I cover all the holes with sheet metal, then sound deaden over that. Every part of the car will be covered. There are a lot of arguments on this.

Taco has the cab only. Civic has a trunk and the trunk lid gets 2 layers plus the inside of it gets layered. Then I'm going to add 20lbs of foam into the trunk lid. Trunk lid should weight 50-60lbs when its done. There is more surface room in a 2door Civic then there is in a 4door Taco.

Could have. You won't need much for the doors. Package 1 should cover you and I'll have left overs I'm sure.

What do you cover the holes with? And I'm glad you knew where I was going with it. Haha. I have been thinking about doing everything, but idk. Haha.

Raamaudio is good, just a bit expensive for my taste. They have a good solid product though flakes. A lot of guys run it. I bought my stuff as b stock or end of product sale. I have audiotechnix and alpha damp.

I cut out sheet metal that fits the hole and put deadening on the back but leave a little lip for it to attach to metal. Then I use high temp hot glue to hold it in place and create a seal. Then cover that with deadener.

Raamaudio is one of the cheaper companies. Dynamat wanted over 800$ to do my civic, 250$ will cover everything from Raam.

If you are into audio, deadening is the best thing you can do IMO. Plus less road noise is always awesome.

Hmm... The hot glue holds it well? I've heard people cutting plexiglass into shape and using some glue(I don't remember). Your way might be easier. Does it come off if needed?

I knew dynamat was expensive but 800?? Ouch. A few years ago when I checked out Raamaudio i thought it was higher priced. Closer to 400 but I could be wrong about that. I've spent about 160 into my deadner. I know one was 40sq ft. I think the other package is 40 also.
