Wheelers gave me candy with my order...customer for life

 

Yeah wheelers is awesome. Customer service takes priority over anything else for me when choosing vendors. It's funny something that small can make all the difference.

 

It's the small things that make customers feel special. Stickers, candy, Koozies.
Stupid little things can keep em coming back and cost nothing really.

 

I think at times I'm more excited for the stickers than what I bought lol, I still need to buy my super bumps for the front

Ive been looking at a way to make extra side cash and saw a thread for fork mounts that go onto the factory bed cleats. Ive been wanting to start fabbing things but not sure of market and if any money can be made. I guess ill have to make a prototype and post it up to see if anyone would be wanting any

I dont have a plasma cutter and would need a front end for 05-11 and 12+ everyone is making sliders and rear bumpers are pretty much all the same

for those of u running ur winches, did u just wire +ve and -ve to the battery? or did you ground the -ve? and do you think it would be too much power to run through one of these

I did straight to the battery. I don't think that would work. Says 80 amp fuses. Winches get upwards of 400-480 amps peak so those would be poppin a lot imo if you actually used the winch.

Just as Simon said, you will literally be getting out and changing fuses every 15 seconds. Saw it happen with a guy who was running a 125amp circuit breaker, talk about annoying.


Simon, what switch are you planning on running? I need to get something for peace of mind in case of fire or stuck solenoid.

 

I haven't hooked it up just yet. Maybe will get to it this weekend or next.

I highly recommend some sort of battery cutoff switch as I had some wires touch during install and sparks flew like I was straight welding under my hood. When I install it I will just leave my winch turned off all the time and just switch it on when heading to the trail. I thought I read somewhere that the switch was rated for 300-350 but Idk can't find it now.



maybe it was this one I read that on and just bought the other one. I can't remember but they look the same except this comes with a bracket
