    Oddly enough you can 4runners for half the price, more people want the Tacomas. And every dealer knows it, it's easy finding them for sale because they ALWAYS put them up front by the road lol

    That is ridiculous.

    I paid 12k for my 03 at 119,000 miles. And that was slightly higher than I should have paid. Was KBB value at the time.

    I bought mine with 120k for about 6k, way underpriced from what it should have been, also got it in Utah

    Each have their own preference. NADA used to almost always be significantly higher so most use KBB. And KBB gives a range of values, they almost always start at the lowest number in that range when buying a vehicle :|

    Thats how these dealers can tell you that they'll give you 120% trade in on your vehicle.....no, they are giving you what KBB says is the lowest possible trade in value and adding a little to it to get you in the door.

    Dealers refer to KBB since people know about it. They have NADA books that they reference to get a price for the vehicle

    I know exactly what mine is worth. And its pretty much wait it left the lot for almost three years ago with 22k less miles :D

    mine went down about 3k then what I bought mine for a year ago with 24k less miles on it

    I think you are all forgetting the first rule of buying and selling vehicles. You will never get out of them what you put in, and that's if you leave it stock. The loss only adds up as you do more to it.

    That's for Very Good Condition. You would never get that, around here anyway. I've always gone by the fair condition, and my truck wouldn't qualify as fair under KBB's definition
