I'm working on the hitch in my DL form before I try for a gainsplosion. Trying to strengthen the lower back and hamstrings for a while. Those have to be the reason I have the hitch.

Also had a random pain on the outside of my knee lately. Not just when I'm lifting, but at work and just out walking around. Haven't been over like 205 on squats in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

I love Elliot, but I've got to disagree to an extent. How have I gone from 140 to 209? You can make muscles grow. You can't make yourself taller or change your hair color, but you can dictate how much mass you put on, simply by eating more. Sure, it's easier for genetic beasts to convert food to muscle than average people and some genetic beasts even have higher natural test levels than average people, but average people can yield the same results simply by busting ass. The reason I don't Crossfit is because, time and time again, maximum hypertrophy has been proven to come from isolation and compound exercises. I'm not saying one cannot build muscle by doing Crossfit. I'm saying maximum hypertrophy comes from isolation and compound exercises. There's more than one way to get from 'Point A' to 'Point B' and I choose to take the path of least resistance. Also, everyone has a different 'Point B': My 'Point B' is aesthetics (big muscles, low bodyfat). Someone elses 'Point B' may be being fit, so Crossfit is for them. Being that my goal is to put on muscle, I do isolation and compound exercises because that's the absolute best way to build muscle (with a proper diet.) Again, I'm not saying you can't put on mass doing Crossfit; I'm saying it's easier to do by traditional weightlifting and this is why Phil Heath, Jay Cutler, Arnold, Kai, CT Fletcher, Dexter Jackson, Ronnie Coleman don't do Crossfit; their goals are to build as much muscle as possible, so they do traditional weightlifting. Sure, they're on steroids, but I'm sure many Crossfitters are, too. Steroids aid in building muscle, so ass still has to be busted in order to gain muscle, even with AAS.

Damn, took me a while to get 17". Then I had surgery last month to have the tendon reattached in my rotator cuff. From the time it tore (mid August) to now I went from 204 to 176. It's so hard for me cause I usually plateau around 194. On a positive note though, I was able to slowly work my way back into the gym this week. My therapist said I'm healing pretty fast since I was in good health to begin with. Only 5 weeks of therapy left. Hope to be back at 200lbs by spring.

x2  That's one thing I need to educate myself on, what to eat and when to eat it. No more "if it taste's good, spit it out" concept, lol

Cause when you were giving your crossfit instructor a reach around yesterday he informed you that anyone that asks for proof of a person saying his arms are bigger then Arnolds in his prime is apparently gay.....;)
