I see, just because when bumping off the lower you are bumping so close to the mounting point of the arms vs on the upper you can bump off the spindle basically so you will see the bumps less over all? Basically the LCA bump will have like a 4:1 (just random number) wheel to bump ratio and bumping off the upper can be pretty close to 1:1 right? That is advantageous because the bumps will affect the dampening of less of your travel?

When bumping off the lower you are using the bump for most of the uptravel instead of just the bump zone basically making the bumpstop a secondary shock.

So what you're saying is my three bumps set at different heights and pressure off the lower control arm are going to work as secondary shocks instead of bump stops!? That's just crazy talk right there.

He is saying 3 bump stops on the LCA is pretty much a 3 tube.

Another teaser of the project coming together...

I'm excited to see what you come up with. I have it all designed in my head how I would do it but just don't have the time to do so right now. The swingers going to be vertical or horizontal?

    Teasers

It's taking quite a long time. Very small area to work in and ability to swing. Main concern is bumpsteer from relocating the tierods to the top of the spindle mount. We hit center link can't go any lower.

anyone know whats touching the bump stop? Looks like a secondary UCA?

    IMG_6829_5c2d7db7416c077ce2272a47eb093cc96144e664.jpg

Is this bump stop mounted correctly? Looks like only one tube on the bottom might be too weak.

    Tax dollars well spent.

BP does get some fun toys. But also some shitty duties. Was out near the border one day shooting at a spot my buddy took me to...decided to go have some fun and mob around some of the trails...come around a corner and there's a dude on a quad standing up with an m-4 (I think?) not quite pointing it at me...but could in a second lol. He's in a full body suit and gear, looks hot as fuck lol. Just asked me to roll my windows down, then tells me that trail was where alot of Coyotes come through lol, and said be careful, they usually start shooting first.
I thanked him and mosied on out of there lol
