I think a lot has to do with the individual. I am single now, with my kids grown. I have no real need for a DC, so my AC works just fine for me. BUT, if I was still married and had kids, I would have bought a DC instead.

My hobbies are fishing, motorcycling and snowmobiling. And I am single. Obviously my boat is on a trailer, my snowmobiles go in a trailer, and my motorcycle rarely get's trailered, but occasionally. I have no need for 4 doors because everything goes in the trailers.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    Thanks. I just misread/misunderstood.

Double cabs take up too much bed room. Regular cabs have almost no room inside for storage. I keep a Jack and stands and jumper cables and straps in the back row of my access and still have a 6ft bed to use.

In Nc, you just have to be 16 to ride in the back. If under 16, just need an adult supervision.

I love the negative comments about AC's too funny. My 4th one is on order.
Different trucks for different people I guess. LOL

I think people with a lot of baggage get the DC.
