I got close to going that route but talked myself out of it.

Bit more cash, but theGenerik1 had Billy's and springs and hated the ride. He bought Fox 2.0 non resi coilovers for $750 +/- and says he loves them, ride is way better on and off road, and I think he installed them himself.

Looks like I'm moving towards OME Nitros F/R now that the Billies couldn't get here quickly.

If this truck is like every other vehicle I've had in the past...it'll be Total Chaos L/T before the end of next year...

It's how I ended up with a 1996 Explorer with a 347 Stroker in it
    It's how I ended up with a 1999 XJ with a Chevy 350 and Rusty's Long Travel
It's how I ended up with a 2009 Mazdaspeed3 with a Built Motor and Huge Turbo

It's a disease and I suffer terribly from it.

Side update, but Headstrong Offroad doesn't have 5100s in stock either, but they say they have a couple suppliers who might still have some and I'm waiting to hear back if this is for sure.

So, you should probably reconsider the 5100s or at least wait until December to lift if you plan on keeping them.

I just got off the phone with them and they have a local guy who has a bunch of them. It's just not free shipping. I paid the extra 12.00 to ship it here to the East Coast and they are going out tomorrow. Call them she said they guy has a ton of them.

Not a bad week for my new truck with 700 miles on it. Front windows tinted, Tonneau Cover, 4 Hankook Dynapro ATM 265/70/17 tires. Front and rear Weathertechs, Ultragauge. And Bilstein 5100's. Now on to the Audio system. Oh and Clazzio grey seat covers

Just a quick FYI. The LR UCAs I picked up off Amazon for $370 with free shipping are simply drop shipped from SPC. So they're the current design for sure. So, if you're in the market, pretty easy way to save $40 over what some other retailers are selling them for. Doesn't require Prime, either.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

Good luck with getting the correct parts for the new set up!

So are the 5100 shocks from carid.com not the correct shocks if you plan to lift your truck more then 1" in the rear? i have recently placed an order with them from the 5100's and the online chat lady is telling me they are set to ship out today so I can cancel my order now. I will have to receive them and return them.

I noticed they had a different part # before I ordered them, but I didn't think they were 2 different types of shocks.

You need to call the customer service number. The Live Chat told me it was good to go also, but that wasn't the case. CarID doesn't inventory any items, they order straight from the manufacturer and they're drop shipped according to the service person I spoke with yesterday.

Either you got the last set of 5100s, or your Live Chat person was totally wrong.

at what point in a lift do you actually need to replace the brake lines?

Well i went ahead and canceled my order due the parts obviously being back ordered. But I'm still wondering if the rear shocks are different then rear shocks purchased from other vendors?

So I am think of using the Eibach coils (620's) with the 5100's set up front at .85 with the 1/4 inch spacer on the driver's side for the lean. What will that give me for lift in the front? The truck has 700 miles on it so I would assume the bushings are good to go. Anything I need up front to do this. And since I am not going the full 3 inches will I need new UCA's? I have the 4 leaf pack already but figure I will have to add an AAL in the back so I am not nose high. So let me know If I have all the front parts I would need.
