    After extensive reading on the subject, im still left with a few questions for my particular situation. I bought my truck used ( 2010 DCLB TRD SPORT) and it sits as follows;

    Rear- 2" lift block w/ stock TSB and stock shocks
    Front - stock w/ 1" spacer and stock shocks
    285/75/16 on trd rims

    It looks ok but rides like a chuck wagon. My plan/questions are as follows;

    1. I will be changing the rear lift in the future to either a new leaf pack or remove block and replace w air bags. For now I just want to replace the the shocks w new billsteins. Do I need the standard ones (Toytec website says they are good for 0-2" of lift) or the ones that say they are good for 3-4" of lift?

    2. I want to remove the front spacer and replace the front shock w/ new adjustable billsteins. Should I buy the new toytec/eibach spring as well?

    3. Are these good options to achieve a small lift increase in the front and improve my horrible ride quality?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    1. New leaf pack is the best option. How much lift do you want? 2" max or 3"?

    2. I would recommend new coils. Eibach.

    3. This will definitely be better that the blocks and TSB.

    Im ok with the rear height as is ( although I would be ok with another inch :rolleyes:). Like I said, I will be changing the rear lift later later, just wanting to know what billsteins to buy for the present. Standard or the ones that toytec claims are good for 3-4" of lift.

    Well, what option are you going to go with for the rear? New leaf packs? Which ones?

    I haven't researched that far yet :) from what I hear the Dakar ones are the best option?

    Dakars lift the rear 2.75" so the billies I would recommend are the 3-4" ones.

    Well, I certainly won't be going any lower than it currently sits. Maybe I'm answering my own question here, but with the 2" block and the TSB I'm already past the 0-2 right? So this is a no brainer to go for 3-4" lift billsteins? That said, I suppose I'm actually somewhere in the middle right now, more than 2" but less than 3"...any one else have any opinions/options?

    Well it also depends on what type of block lift it is. The blocks usually go between springs and axle so it doesn't actually change the suspension geometry from the stock configuration. Going with the extended length shocks may be overkill.

    Thanks guys, it's going into my local 4x4 shop on Wednesday to have the front spacer removed and put in the adjustable 5100s. Shop owner said I didn't need a new coil.

    Also, in the rear im just replacing the shocks w the regular upgraded billsteins. I'll leave the spacer for now and if I'm still unsatisfied w the ride ill do the leaf pack/air bags.

    He said he's done a ton of these Tacomas w this exact setup and everyone has been very happy. Looking forward to being one others happy customers. Will update later.
