Nice! Have you checked out Hard Labor Creek State Park? It would be closer than Stone Mtn. Unless you've already paid for and reserved spots!

Be sure to stay warm though lol

Never heard of that. My family is from the Stone Mountain Area and wanted the wife to see the laser show and such. I've been away for a long time now and have no idea what else is around there anymore.

Ahhhh, I gotcha. It's out in Social Circle.

Make sure and check to see if they're still doing the laser show. I can't remember when they stop having it for the year.

My family is actually from Stone Mtn as well.

Does anyone on here know about diminished value? After getting hit and now the truck is fixed the insurance co isn't offering what I feel is a fair amount. All I know to do is have my truck appraised to see how much the accident has dropped my value. Just the fact that it has been in an accident will kill the value. I'm just looking for ideas of how to get more out of it. Not just trying to collect a check but to get what I think is fair. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I was told by a Toyota used car salesman that I lost $1500 just due to the fact that it can't be listed as certified pre owned due to the accident. But of course they won't give me that in writing and the insurance co basically said get it in writing.

Lol they said my truck is worth 29,350 can't remember the exact number then said after the accident it's worth $1300 less. What a joke! I know just having an accident on the report will drop it way more than that. Hell, if I was looking to buy and saw accident I'd just move on to the next one. The money difference wouldn't really matter when buying, the accident would scare me away.

It won't hurt anything if you keep driving it a while longer with old fluid in it. Do you have an auto of manual?

Yes, the lower my truck is valued the more I should be entitled to for diminished value and I don't believe what they're saying it's valued at compared to what I'd actually get I the market.

I think I'm going to take it to Carmax just to see what they'd offer to give me some argument material.
