    Anybody else seeing huge declines in kids trick or treating? We had 22 kids this year and they stopped ringing the doorbell at 745PM.

    Hundreds of kids 10 years ago, are we really not having more children? 22 kids on Halloween is crazy, I'm surrounded by houses, with kids. Hundreds of houses.

    No doubt a decline. Times are changing. Most of the youth are trick or treating in large groups in business districts chaperoned. The LDS trunk or treat now in our area. They meet at one of the 8 LDS churches in our town of 6k park and go from trunk to trunk.
    Keeping children safe is now almost priority for most.
    I want to randomly blame this on 9/11.
