    Yeah, these dash cams are becoming very popular nowadays, especially with idiotic drivers on the road. Would not be surprised to see front and rear cams become the "standard". Video can go a long way to telling the full story. The only caveat is, that it can also catch *you* doing something silly. ;)

    Real nice video quality on the cam, I would like to add that protection from all the yahoos driving around these days. But it was a fail for not being blinded by the sun off a skewp.

    As others said, for insurance reasons. A cue from the Russians. The other driver can't claim a lie when you have proof. Albuquerque drivers are some of the worst in the US I've come across. $100 is a small price to pay.

    It is a 2 way street though, lol. I do seem to pay more attention to the little details with the camera on.
