Cute wet snow pic. My bros old pos 97 civic hatch went anywhere and everywhere during Seattle area snow/ice storms with only studded tires. If a moron can't drive then it doesn't matter what tires he has.

I call weak sauce. I was in high school when the Halloween blizzard of '91 hit Minnesota. We got 28+ inches that night and was driving my '77 two-wheel-drive Toyota pickup all night long. At that point in my life, I had no idea what good tires were. I'd bet I had 4 different brand tires of various tread depth. Tires do make a difference in bad weather, but so does common sense and experience.

ding ding ding. Winner. It seems like some of the older guys know what they're talking about. Ill call my dad and ask him what tires he had on his Previa when he was on I-94 in ND when there was about 2 feet of snow and the free way was closed. While dolly towing a car.

Don't get me wrong, OP. I like the tires and I just picked up a winter set for myself. I'm calling weak sauce on the tiny bit of fluff you show in the picture.

The right equipment helps big time, but my father-in-law lives in Duluth, MN, and has never owned a 4x4 in his life. Duluth is like San Francisco locked in snow and ice in the winter. He drives a 100% stock Camry with stock tires. Just gotta know the limits of your vehicle.

And like the predictable Canucks we are, we'll probably apologize... laugh a bit before and after, but apologize all the same
