No one in the area has a truck like mine to compare prices to. Hell, I've only seen 1 other truck with a Satoshi in my life. 95% of tacomas around here are stock, so no one knows what they are looking at. The modded trucks don't sell unless it's a bro diesel. I'm likely going to keep it, but the bank won't leverage against it at all and cash is 100% leverage. The lender said "You need more skin in the game so you need to find more money."

I'm only in a position where it might need to go to move on to bigger and better things career wise.

I also thought about selling all the files to my bumpers, skids, grille letters, etc, but it's hard to value that stuff too. One group order of skids can net $5000 easily.

Yep, I could easily get what I paid for mine.

    .

Fuck I remember searching for mine for almost 6 months constantly. I ended up getting an awesome deal which was kbb value. I had an app that notified me anytime someone posted on craigslist and within an hour they had people coming with cash.

Took out my drop in plastic bed liner. Not too much rust, just a few .22 shells and a bottle cap or two from the PO.

Everything on my truck is custom fab work haha
After pulling the bed I really do want to build a tube bed but with removable bedsides! Don't think it will happen now but maybe soon, then build an offroad trailer from my old bed!

I pulled the bed to get to the frame better to do the Inner and outter frame plates, rear shock relocation, high clearance lower shock mounts, ubolt flip and still have to do the Trans/tcase crossmember and snorkel

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Files are hard to price the buyer needs to factor if its worth buying the file or just doing the R&D themselves. They are only worth what someone will pay for them. If you can net 5000 on one group sale why dont you just do that? Or do you mean gross sales of 5000 net and gross can be way different.

Exactly. If I sell files I can't guarantee the person will only make one, so I would look dumb trying to continue selling skids while another guy is selling them too. :bananadead:

Based on previous group buys, after all is said and done I put about $5000 in my pocket. My supplier is legit though. Obviously depends on number of customers and you can only do 1-2 group buys a year.
