This is my first post, bought my brand new 2015 DCSB TRD OR earlier this month. I used the Costco new vehicle program, and I have to say it was a very positive experience. I wasted no time at the dealership, there was zero tension, and I'm very happy with the price I paid. I gave the dealer a check for $32,386.34 (I paid sales tax separately because I bought in one state and live in another). All of the nitty-gritty details are below:

[I list the date in two columns below, one for Invoice and one for MSRP.]
    Invoice MSRP
    Auto/Short bed: $25,972 $28,035
    Entune Audio+: $606 $680
    TRD Off Rd: $3,208 $3,375
    TRD Tow: $579 $650
    Carpet Mats: $120 $195
    Delivery: $885 $885
    Toyota Dlr Adv: $503 ---
    Gasoline: $13.84 ---
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    $31,886.84 $33,820
    Price abv. inv.: $300
    "Purch. Price": $32,186.84
    Admin. Fee: $199.50
    Check Amount: $32,386.34

    Costco Mbr.Sav: $1633.16

Basically, Costco pre-negotiates a "price above invoice," which for the Tacoma in my area is $300. There is also a $199.50 admin fee, I don't know who gets that (Costco or the dealer). Months ago, I didn't know about the TDA fee (Toyota Dealer Advertising), because I didn't read Edmonds.com very carefully (it shows a blank space for that fee, with an *, because it varies from region to region). Anyway, I'm sure different people will interpret all of these knick-knacks differently, but the bottom line is I'm very happy with the price, especially given how easy it was.

I love my truck and I'm happy to be here!

RB. I e-mailed every dealership in the area. Wasn't interested in hardcore haggling and they were the best price by a mile. Biggest discount at any other location was $250 off MSRP as opposed to approx. $2k. I probably could have gotten them lower but I felt it was a fair price. I'd recommend the Carlsbad location although I didn't visit any other's to really compare.

    $34,643 out the door

Now aware that I paid double what I should have for the extended warranty...

Still very satisfied with what I paid for what I got.

Hey folks, new member here from Chattanooga . I've been lurking a few weeks. I'm picking up my silver sky metallic 2015 DCSB Taco tomorrow. The truck has:
    1. TRD Sport
    2. Entune Premium w/ Nav
    3. Rubber mats and sill guard.
    4. Tow pkg
    5. Exhaust tip

It just arrived on Saturday and was a dealer order. MSRP is $34,090.00 after shopping prices with several dealers and this forum, got the dealer to $500 over invoice which was $32,600. After TTL and 7 yr / 100k warranty, OTD price was $36k and change. (can't remember actual # until tomorrow)

Dealers (Stealers) and their little add-ons make me laugh. Looking at your pic of the order was funny:

    -$500 Processing Fee
    -$10 Purchasers Online Filing Fee
    -$17.31 Dealers Business License Tax

Last week at a dealership in FL I told the sales guy that I’d be charging the dealership the following additional fees if they charged me fees:

    -$250 Customer Premiere Focus Fee
    -$100 Internet Search Optimization Fee
    -$150 DMV Processing Tax Levy
    -$25 Sales Interaction Communication Tax

Hello all, first post here, purchased 10/30:

V6 MGM Tacoma, Prerunner, AC, 4x2, TRD Sport includes tow package and Entune here in CA, door sill protectors and floor mats. MSRP of 29,340.

Purchased for $28,000 + TTL in SoCal.

Couldn't be happier with the purchase!!

Had been shopping for a long time and finding AC in socal are extremely difficult, most dealers have over 30-40 DC's but only 1 or 2 AC's from what I saw.

What do you guys think? Good deal?

I initially paid like 2k for a 3rd party 7 yr 100k miles. Got to reading a bit and made some phone calls. Got 2 quotes for $925 and $1025 for 7 yr platinum VSA with no deduct. Went back a week later and returned my ext warranty and walked out with the platinum VSA for $1000. Definitely worth the effort. Also have read a lot of nasty review on the 3rd part Fidelity extended warranty.
