I know his front bumper is an Elite offroad with relentless fab predator guard. And the rear is a Box Rocket Custom rear bumper (with swing out/dual jerry can holder)

Modified the rear shackles and packs some today...it works a TON better I'll finish up this week with creeper joints on rear shackle and longer shocks....
The front has another 2" at shocks of up travel...so I'll split it and drop the mounts 1" down

Had to find something high enough to hold back end up....new shop has all the lifts at it so running skeleton parts till I open up there...lol
    Use what ya got.

Added new 5100's to the rear to match the fronts, also installed a Temporary ZUK mod spring instead of a AAL untill I can get my hands on a Dakar leaf pack, Gained a good 2inch back there! Also installed new LED Bar to the front.

Anyone hooked up a OTRATTW switch with the dimmer? What wires did you tap into for the light?

You know, every time I looked at it I thought to myself that the predator hoops define it and make it look like its from relentless, but the rest of it didn't look relentless. Could never figure it out till you told me. Does box rocket fabricate? Or was this some special one-off-for-a-friend-deal. Eric from relentless said hes reluctant to do more aluminum bumpers and I don't know how I'll convince him to make one for me, lol. I've been looking around for other places to no avail. Elite seems too unreliable from what I've read lately, and those two fab shops are the only place that makes the similar style I like.

I can't remember, Delta, did you say yours was going to be aluminum?

I tapped into the ash tray light.

No, mine is going to to be steel :D. I believe Eric sells aluminum 1st gen DIY kits still. So if you know someone who welds or maybe you can find yourself a welder and still have an aluminum bumper. As for boxrocket I don't know. You can PM him and see what he says.

Yeah I'd rather skip the frustration of nit picking someone else to do the job with the exact quality I want. Such as it not lining up correctly or whatever. People around here just want to get paid and don't have much enthusaism about their work. And they always groan whenever I elaborate what I want (just about every shop i've gone to) Plus I've heard that people have had trouble with the DIY kits.

Oh I didn't read that. Sorry. That's actually a good question. I don't have a dimming switch from them, and my ash tray bulb is removed. So I don't know if that wire is "dimmable". But the shifter indicator light does dim, so that could be another source. My switch is just a basic switch with a backlight.

I just did the gray wire mod and after slowly turning side to side for a min i think it engaged! I don't think the locker was ever turned on in the 10 years the PO had the truck!

On that note is it normal for it to make a small pop when it disengages? I don't think i have abs either because that light doesn't come on.

Yeah, nobody used the locker on mine either haha

Mine always makes a pop when disengaging, and sometimes engaging. It's normal. Just don't go over 5mph when trying to engage or disengage the locker.

Yeah i remembered that when the light blinked really slow then i slowed down a tiny bit (less than 10 to less than 5mph) and it blinked faster and i just kinda went duh, oops.

Thank you, just wanted to make sure that was normal.

When I press my switch I have to turn the wheel a bit and then it engages. With a click as well

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Not 100% sure, but I think Toyota dims on the ground side rather than the positive. I say this because I hooked my OTRATTW switches to the stereo light circuit on the stereo harness and they don't dim. I grounded them through the relay harness for the item the switch controls.
